It was a big day for hundreds of Coastal Carolina Students who, now, are no longer students.
Close to 350 CCU graduates received their diplomas at the fall commencement ceremony.
The service was held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center and there was a large crowd.
While just about 350 students walked Saturday, more than 700 were eligible for diplomas.
NewsChannel 15 spoke with one graduate who said it's not exactly the best time to be entering the workforce.
South Carolina painter Jonathan Green, who focuses on the state's Gullah culture was the day's keynote speaker.
