It's that time of year when baseball is winding down and football is getting started, but that's not the case for the Grand Strand Miracle League
Coastal Carolina University baseball players helped ring in the new season of the Miracle League.
It gives kids with physical and mental disabilities an opportunity to play baseball.
The Miracle League's head coach says it really gives the children something special.
"It lets them know that they can do what other people can do. It's like they can come out and play baseball like regular kids. It's just special needs kids being kids," says K-2 Gibson.
