Myrlte Beach Police are also expected a bit less traffic than last year, but a bit more than last week's Harley rally. Officers say a relatively busy night is expected through Saturday night in the city limits.
Myrtle Beach Police say they'll have an extra 160 officers -- local and state -- on duty just in the city limits of Myrlte Beach throughout the weekend.
"These weekends it gets crowded on Ocean Boulevard, on Highway 17 and on all the back streets. This year not so bad, but we do have plans in place if it gets too crowded that we can flush the traffic out, try to clear the congestion and clear things up," said Capt. David Knipes with the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
Police urge drivers to be patient and cautious of bikers on the roads.
