Seventeen South Carolinians have tested positive for the H1N1 (Swine) virus, according to the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control.

16 cases are associated in some way with a recent Newberry Academy school trip to Mexico.

The 17th case, announced late Wednesday, occured in Charleston.

SCDHEC says everyone who has tested positive for H1N1 has been asked to voluntarily isolate themselves for a short time.

Below you'll find a link to SCDHEC for more information, as well as a link to the special section we've set up to answer your questions right here on CarolinaLive.com.
