A pick-up truck driver died in a crash about 1:40 p.m. Wednesday at the two mile marker of Highway 22 West, near Highway 501.

Highway Patrol says the pick-up driver ran into the back of a dump truck that was traveling slowly because of mechanical issues.

The pick-up was towing a trailer at the time of the crash

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

The driver of the dump truck was not hurt.

Highway Patrol is investigating.
