The man whose body was found near the railroad tracks on Haynes Street in Clio Monday morning, was hit and killed by a train, according to Marlboro County Coroner Tim Brown.

A railroad official called 911 after seeing the body of Roger Dale Locklear, 51, lying near the tracks.

Brown says Locklear's death has been ruled accidental.

We'll post more details as we get them.
