Brunswick County Deputies say Christopher Wilson Scott, 38, of Little River robbed the Security Savings Bank in Calabash.
They say at 12:25 p.m. Monday, he went into the bank on Beach Drive and forced employees to give him money. He left on foot.
He's described as about 6 foot tall, weighing about 155 to 170 pounds. At the time, the suspect was wearing a black hooded jacket with a backpack.
