Derek Thompson Owens, 29, of Murrells Inlet, and Edmund Dechane Holmes, 21, of Georgetown, are charged with trafficking cocaine and heroin, according to the Georgetown Police Department.
Police say the pair was arrested after an investigation by the 15th Circuit Solicitor's Drug Enforcement Unit, the Drug Enforcement Agency, the State Law Enforcement Division, the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office and the Georgetown Police Department.
Agents searched two houses and three vehicles in the bust. They seized .25 kilograms of heroin, 100 grams of cocaine, and a 2007 Chevy Tahoe.
The investigation is ongoing.
