COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is discussing the state's infant mortality rate.

Haley's office says she is holding a news conference at the Statehouse on Monday with officials from the state's Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Health and Environmental Control.

Organizers say an official from the March of Dimes is also expected to talk about what state and private groups are doing to improve South Carolina's infant mortality rate.
