Myrtle Beach Police spokesman David Knipes says Police are investigating a collision on Highway 501 involving a school bus.

It happened around 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon on Highway 501 Southbound near the 17 bypass.

Knipes says no students were on the bus and it is unclear how much damage the bus sustained.

There is no word if the driver of the car will be charged.
