Saturday afternoon was a collectors dream in Myrtle Beach as thousands gathered for South Carolina's largest garage sale.
From antiques to toys to golf clubs, it was every single garage sale you've ever seen all rolled into one at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
Hundreds of vendors displayed tens of thousands of items for thousands of collectors.
"It's an art," said collector Barbara Bonham. "Maybe a little science, but it's an art. You have to know what your looking for and what you like. "
For Bonham and her friend, Renee Hobis, it's not only about what they get at the sale, it's about what they brought.
"This is our buggies," said Bonham. "That way you can carry anything you want to and that way you don't have to lug it around, like I see some people lugging it around. It hurts."
The vendors at the convention center aren't necessarily in it for themselves. Some like Gwendolyn Simmons raised money for charity.
"I'm here for my church," said Simmons. "I've done this for six years, and we've done well with it."
The event's been a hit in its 24th consecutive year on the Grand Strand.
The garage sale moved to the convention center after being held for several years at a parking garage across from the old Pavilion site.
