Monique Williams, 25, is charged with two counts of Threatening the Life of a Public Official, Assault Third Degree and Disturbing Schools.

Williams was called to Pate Elementary School in Darlington Monday to handle a matter dealing with her son, who is a student at the school, according to Captain Andy Locklair with the Darlington County Sheriff's Office.

Locklair says Williams got out of hand and caused a big disruption.

Locklair added at one point, she pushed a school employee, but no one was seriously injured.

She then left the school, according to Locklair.

School administrators called deputies to report the incident.

After an investigation, officers arrested Williams Monday night at her home.

She remains at the Darlington County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond.
