Tip leads to arrest of Attempted Murder suspect

Richard E. Hemingway was arrested after a tip led police to him at a home in Longs, according to the Horry County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies along with officers from the Horry County police department and US Marshals Task Force arrested Hemingway after a short foot chase.

Hemingway is listed as one of the Horry County Sheriff's Office's most wanted. Deputies were looking for him for a general sessions bench warrant for Failure to Appear on an Attempted Murder charge.

He is also wanted by Myrtle Beach police for Attempted Murder.
