Urrea Ricardo Garces, 31, of Myrtle Beach was arrested Thursday Night.
Horry County Police were called to a construction site after a man was hit in the head with a crowbar.
The victim was working at the construction site when Garces approached him and demanded money. When the victim told him he had no money, Garces hit him in the head with a crowbar and then knocked out the windows of the victims car, according to a police report.
Garces and the victim used to work together, according to the report.
Garces left before officers arrived, but was later caught. He is being charged with Assault and Battery, Armed Robbery and Malicious damage to property.
Garces is being held in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. Bail has not yet been set.
