FLORENCE, S.C. (WPDE) - Florence police have arrested a woman wanted on attempted murder and arson charges. Major Carlos Raines said police located Treaver Denise Johnson, 40, in West Florence near Pennsylvania Street Sunday.
Police say just after midnight Friday Johnson got into an argument with her boyfriend. After he asked her to leave the home, police say she set fire to a couch on the front porch.
She then kicked out a window, which police say caused the fire to spread more quickly.
The fire destroyed the house, split into two apartments.
Nine people inside the home managed to get out, including an older woman who had to crawl through a window.
