A couple from Columbia, SC, travels to Myrtle Beach every year for Christmas, but this year their holiday didn't go as planned.
Michael and Ann Harter drove to Myrtle Beach Saturday to spend the holiday with their family. After doing some last minute shopping they settled in to their room at the Bermuda Sands Motel.
"When I got up Sunday morning, it was gone," said Harter. The "it" Harter is referring to, is his car.
Overnight someone stole Harter's white 1990 lincoln town car from the parking lot of Bermuda Sands and with it took all their Christmas presents.
"Oh I'm just devastated, I can't believe it happened," said Harter.
Now the Harter's are left to celebrate Christmas without their Christmas spirit.
