HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) - One woman is dead after an apparent hit and run off of Highway 701 South on Harper Road outside Conway.
Rebecca Reaves, 57, of Conway was found dead on the roadway just before 6 a.m. Saturday, according to Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is reporting the crash as a hit and run.
The autopsy revealed that Reaves died from trauma as a result of being struck by an automobile, said Fowler.
Horry County Police and Highway Patrol are investigating the crash together.
