About a month after the 2012 Presidential election, we are now learning how many people in South Carolina approve of the job being done by President Obama.

According to the latest Winthrop Poll, 48% of South Carolina respondents approve of his job performance. However, 41% do not approve.

When asked how they thought Congress was doing, more than 3 in 4 respondents disapproved of the job performance.

As far as Governor Nikki Haley and her job performance, South Carolinians are divided. The governor received an approval rating of 38.3% and a disapproval rating of 41.3%.

The survey was done in the field between Nov. 25 and Dec. 2, 2012.
