A crash involving a tractor trailer in Dillon County claimed the life of one person Sunday, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Lance Corporal Judd Jones.
A 1985 Buick, driven by the deceased, hit the back of a 2007 tractor trailer that was traveling north in the southbound lane of Harllees Bridge Road shortly after 7:00 p.m Jones said.
Dillon County Coroner Donnie Grimsley confirmed that William Lidge Junior, 43 years old, died at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
