A suspect in an armed robbery in Georgetown County is in police custody after turning himself in Tuesday night.

Deputies responded to a house on County Line Road around 11 p.m., and Darrel Damain Linen was arrested without incident, according to the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office

Linen, 21, was wanted for trying to rob the W.T. Owens Store in Pleasant Hill around 1:00 p.m the same day.

An employee refused to hand over any money, and Linen fled the scene.

Linen is charged with Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, Grand Larceny, and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Crime.
