A man who robbed four banks along the Grand Strand in 2011 was sentenced Tuesday in federal court.

Anthony Joseph Jennings, 44, of Myrtle Beach was sentenced to 105 months in prison, 5 years of supervised release, and ordered to pay $8,102 in restitution.

Jennings robbed Carolina First on Postal Way, First Citizens Bank on River Oaks Drive, Carolina First on Highway 17 South in North Myrtle Beach, and BB&T on Highway 501 East in Conway, according to United States Attorney Bill Nettles.

In addition to his sentence, the judge also ordered Jennings to forfeit $15,700 which was seized when he was arrested.

The case was investigated by the Horry County Police Department and agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
