A trough will settle across the East over the week and several fronts will drop south stalling along the Western Carolinas. This will keep the area in an unsettled weather pattern with scattered storms around the area throughout the week.The humidity will remain high as well, but temps will max out in the mid/upper 80s each day. It will not be a threat to our area. Over the weekend, Tropical Storm Florence formed out in the Atlantic but has quickly weakened to a Tropical Depression. It is a long way away from the US and has a rough trip ahead with dry air and a lot of wind shear to battle. Most models are showing this disturbance to continue to diminish over the next few days.
