With a disturbance gradually pushing away from the Carolinas today, we'll still see a slight chance for a few showers/storms, but not as great of a chance as the past few days. High pressure will dominate the extended forecast bringing in unseasonably hotter, more humid weather through the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend. You can track the rain and storms with us on First Alert Live Doppler 1500. Another disturbance is forecast to emerge from the Caribbean and remain off of the Southeast coast. The ridge of high pressure across the East is forecast to supress the system South toward Florida over the weekend. We'll keep a close eye on this system and you can always get teh latest on the tropics on the Tropical Update page.
