A ridge of high pressure will move in and remain in control across the East this weekend leaving us with dry weather, lower humidity levels today and tomorrow, along with plenty of sunshine. With the high pushing off the East Coast Sunday, the heat and humidity will be on the rise with some Inland locations hitting 90°. Rain chances hold off until the beginning of next week as a slow moving disturbance to our West pulls in a tropical, moist airmass that will kick off showers and storms next week. The tropics look quiet but you can always keep up with the latest on the tropics on the Tropical Update page.
