An approaching system will bring in the chance for rain today and cloudy skies. The associated cold front will move through this evening bringing drier conditions in overnight, but the clouds will remain around. Temps will hit thelow/mid 60s today and only fall to the Upper 40s/lower 50s tonight. High pressure will build in for Friday giving us a very nice afternoon with plenty of sun and temps in the mid/upper 60s. Another system will approach the area Saturday with rain chances increasing through Saturday afternoon. Coniditions will be cloudy but dry for the Myrtle Beach Marathon on Saturday morning. Our best chance for rain will be overnight Saturday into Sunday midday with some areas potentially seeing more than an inch of much needed rain.
