An area of low pressure will moves into the Carolinas this afternoon and drag a cold front through this evening. A few showers will be around ahead of the fron with mostly cloudy skies. As the front comes through there will be a chance for a few storms as well before skies clear out overnight. You can always track our rain on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app!  It will remain warm ahead of the front with temps topping out in the mid 60s. Behind the front, drier and cooler conditions will move in keeping our highs for Thursday day in the upper 50s.

Our next cold front pushes in Friday night. It will pass by dry but bring in a shot of cold air behind it. A secondary dry cold front will come through Saturday night with a reinforcing shot of colder air that will be felt Sunday. Runners in the Myrtle Beach Marathon will have a chilly start to the race with temps starting in the upper 30s at race time.

Today: Mostly cloudy, warm and windy. A few showers possible and even a few storms possible. Highs:Mid/Upper 60s.

Tonight: Gradual clearing and colder. Lows: Grand Strand: Low 40s, Inland: Around 40°.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, cooler and breezy.  Highs: Mid/Upper 50s.
