ATLANTA - One person is dead after a tornado touched down in Adairsville, GA Wednesday morning, Bartow County Emergency Management Center said.
A tornado watch has been issued for parts of Cherokee, Cobb, Fulton, Bartow and Paulding counties in Georgia.
Interstate 75 is closed in both directions at exit 306 in Adairsville due to trees in the road.
