Kendra Johnson, 34, was killed in her apartment on Bellevue Drive in Florence Wednesday morning, according to Florence County Coroner Keith Von Lutcken.
Johnson was shot to death in her home, and now her ex-boyfriend, Doni Anderson, is charged with her murder.
A co-worker stopped by to pick Johnson up for work, but Johnson didn't answer the door. The co-worker went on to work and when she didn't see Johnson there, she got nervous.
Another co-worker went back to the apartment and found her dead.
Anderson turned himself in to Myrtle Beach police and was charged with Murder.
Florence police will bring Anderson back to Florence to face the charge.
Johnson worked at the Housing Authority of Florence.
