A Myrtle Beach woman is facing numerous charges in North Carolina after leading deputies on a chase Monday night.
Jeniffer Melisa Herring, 37, of 121 Misty Pine Drive, Myrtle Beach, was pulled over at approximately 11:25 p.m. for a traffic violation.
According to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, she failed to stop for blue lights and sirens, leading deputies on a chase in the area of Holden Beach Road and Oxpen Road in Supply, North Carolina.
The pursuit lasted about 15 minutes and ended at end of Old Ferry Road, when Herring reached a deadend, and stopped in a private driveway.
According to the police report, Herring called 911 during the pursuit and stated there was no emergency, and she would pull over for $300,000.
Herring is charged with: Driving While Impaired, Felony Fleeing to Elude Arrest, Driving While License Revoked, Careless and Reckless Driving, and Driving Left of Center.
She was also arrested for an outstanding Order for Arrest for Failure to Appear on a pending DWI case in Brunswick County.
Herring is being held at the Brunswick County Detention Center. According to the Brunswick County Detention Center's website, Herring's bond has been set at $13,000.
