An estimated 15,000 Shriners are on the Grand Strand for the 39th annual South Atlantic Shrine Association Fall Festival.

The annual Shriners parade starts at 9 a.m. Saturday and runs on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach from 12th Avenue South to 29th Avenue South.

Shriners are known for helping children with medical care at their Shriners Hospitals for Children®.

Saturday, from 10am-2pm, there will be a free orthopedic screening at the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce building at 1200 Oak Street. It's for children ages birth to 18 years to screen for orthopedic injuries or conditions involving bones, joints and muscles that may require monitoring or treatment. Free DNA kits will also be available.
