A cold front moving off of the Carolina coastline today will leave behind mostly sunny skies, lower humidity levels, and seasonable temperatures for this afternoon. Friday will remain mainly dry, but hotter and more humid. A cold front will move in over the weekend and stall near the Coast by Sunday. The chance for scattered storms will be around the area through the weekend and even into Monday. Temps will be down to the mid/upper 80s by Sunday and stay there into next week.
Tropical Storm Gordon formed early this morning out in the Atlantic. This system is not expected to impact the US and forecast to stay out to sea. Another wave in the Caribbean, the remnants of Tropical Depression #7, is showing only a 10% chance for development over the next 2 day.
