Police said a 12-year-old girl led officers on a chase through parts of uptown and Interstate 77 overnight.
Authorities said the girl ran away from her home in Gaffney, S.C., while her father was asleep.
According to police reports from Gaffney, the girl's father said she was doing chores around the house when he fell asleep on the couch, and when he woke up, she was gone.
