Community gathers to help fire victims.

Conway - People from all over the Grand Strand are coming together to do whatever they can to help the victims who lost so much in the fire at Windsor Green Condos in Carolina Forest on Saturday.
"We had just some families wander in, and I knew, I could just look at the door, you could tell by the look on their face that they were victims. You could just see like total sadness in their eyes, walking around just lost, just really not knowing where to start," said coordinator Jennifer Lombardi.
She said when victims of Saturday's condo fire at Windsor Green came to the donation center right next to Boston Pizza in Carolina Forest, they were hesitant to take anything.
"You know they'd take a couple shirts, 'Oh, this is enough.' I'm like are you kidding? Look at what we have," she said.
Lombardi said within hours of setting up, the room started to fill and fast. She and other organizers realized they needed more space.
Like a number of other smaller donation centers, they are now moving their supplies to the X Sports Complex in Myrtle Beach. Organizer Nicole Couilliard said all victims need to do is get a voucher from Red Cross set up across the street at Beach Church.
"They can come in here and pick through whatever they need, and there's no limit of what they can take," said Couilliard.
As more and more donations come flowing in, Windsor Green fire victims can know that they can count on their community.
"If there's a need, we'll be here," she said.
She said they are in desperate need of canned goods, laundry detergent, new undergarments, and even gift cards, because a lot of the victims have lost things they need to replace, like their medications.
