A fight at a nightclub in Timmonsville led to the a shooting and stabbing, according to Captain Mike Nunn, the spokesman for the Florence County Sheriff's Office.

Around 1 a.m. deputies responded to a nightclub at Honda Way near Timmonsville for a report of gunshots fired.

Once deputies arrived, witnesses also told police that there was a stabbing.

Rodney Green, of Timmonsville, and Antonio Cooper, of Lynchburg, got into a verbal fight inside the nightclub, said Nunn.

He said Green cut Cooper's neck with a knife and then Cooper got a handgun and shot Green in the face.

Both Green and Cooper left the scene and went to the hospital to be treated.

Green and Cooper are both in custody in the Florence County Detention Center and are charged with Attempted Murder.
