The Myrtle Beach Convention Center has gone high tech.

Thursday was move-in day for the Palmetto Regional First Robotics Competition.

Students from 12 states representing 65 teams are in Myrtle Beach for the event.

Nine of those teams are from Horry County schools.

This year, they're competing in ultimate frisbee competitions.

Opening ceremonies are Friday. The final rounds are set for 4:30 Saturday afternoon. The event is free and open to the public.
