Darlington County deputies arrested Eric Brown, 23, of Hartsville on Monday and charged him with at least 50 criminal charges.
Deputies say Brown is responsible for a rash of car break-ins over the past few months.
They say Brown stole items ranging from sunglasses to guns.
Investigators caught up with Brown after he used a credit card that he stole from a victim's car. That led investigators to secure a search warrant for Brown's house, where other stolen items were found.
Every car that Brown stole from was unlocked.
