The National Weather Center will have a statewide tornado drill in South Carolina on Tuesday, March 5 at 9 a.m.

The test alert will come through EAS (emergency alert system) and NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) weather radios.

This event is a test to determine the readiness of EAS equipment and emergency radio receivers in broadcast facilities, schools, hospitals and other public buildings.
