Two Horry County School buses were involved in wrecks Thursday afternoon.

Around 3 p.m., a car hit the side of a Conway elementary bus at the intersection of Ninth Avenue and Church Street.

12 students were onboard during the wreck, and no injuries were reported, said Horry County Schools spokeswoman Teal Britton.

Around 2:30 p.m., a vehicle hit the rear of a bus on Highway 544 in Socastee near McDonald's.

No students were on the bus at the time of the wreck. No injuries are being reported.

The bus is parked in the Kohl's parking lot and police are on the scene, according to Britton.
