Three people have been arrested after a search for a Horry County fugitive Tuesday in Longs.
Richard Earl Hemingway, 24, of Longs is charged with Trafficking Heroin, Possession With Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Simple Possession of Marijuana, Resisting Arrest and Failure to Appear.
Perry Lamont Jones,38, of Longs and Ralph Cleodus Willard, 27, of Longs are charged with Trafficking Heroin, Possession With Intent to Distribute Cocaine and Simple Possession of Marijuana.
Willard is also charged with Resisting Arrest.
Horry County police officers, US marshals and deputies with the Horry County Sheriff's Office were in the area of Reno Circle in Longs searching for Richard Hemingway.
Hemingway was wanted by the Horry County Police Department for Failure to Appear on an Attempted Murder Charge stemming from 2011.
Hemingway was seen with other people at a shed on Reno Circle and fled on foot once police arrived.
After a foot chase, he and another suspect were taken into custody.
One other suspect was taken into custody at the shed.
Firearms were located on two of the suspects at the time of their arrest; one of which was stolen.
Seized from the shed was approximately 9.7 grams of crack cocaine, 14.7 grams of heroin and 1.7 grams of marijuana.
Also seized from the property was $1,144 in cash.
