MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - Attorneys from around South Carolina are meeting in Myrtle Beach for their annual meeting.
The S.C. Bar Convention gets under way on Thursday. Organizers say the House of Delegates is expected to take up a number of issues and will get an update from the University of South Carolina Moore School of Business on the economic impact of the legal profession in the state.
Supreme Court Chief Justice Jean Toal and House Speaker Bobby Harrell are addressing the group Friday. The meeting wraps up on Sunday.
