Chad Weatherford, winner of the 2012 "Field and Stream Total Outdoorsman Challenge," picked up the Tracker boat that he won at the Myrtle Beach Mall Bass Pro Shops on Tuesday.
The boat is part of the $50,000 prize package he won.
"It's pretty awesome to be a regular country boy, like I always say, from Loris and be able to be in the position i'm in and, uh, it's a pretty awesome feeling," Weatherford added.
He competed in a series of challenges, including archery, ATV handling and endurance. A reality show about the competition aired on the Outdoor Channel.
This is the second time Weatherford has won the challenge. He won it in 2010 too.
