A little before 7 p.m. Saturday, a homeless woman was hit by a vehicle in Myrtle Beach and later died.
Debra Hall, 53, stepped out onto Kings Highway around 23rd Avenue North, and was hit by a SUV traveling northbound, according to Myrtle Beach Police Capt. David Knipes.
Hall was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center where she died, said Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler.
An autopsy revealed that Hall died of multiple trauma from injuries, said Fowler.
Hall is originally from North Carolina but has lived in Myrtle Beach for two years, said Fowler.
Hall was homeless according to police.
No charges have been filed at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
