MONCK'S CORNER, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a Berkeley County couple whose infant was mauled to death by a dog last year has lost custody of their other two children again after a dog bit one of them.

A spokeswoman with the state Department of Social Services confirmed the two children were removed Friday from the home of Quintin and Chantel McGrew.

The action stemmed from a Jan. 3 report that one of the children was bitten by a dog. The boy suffered puncture wounds to his right cheek and the left side of his nose.

Last April, the couple's Labrador retriever mix mauled and killed their baby Aiden as he sat in a child swing. Quentin McGrew was sleeping in a nearby room at the time of the attack. He is awaiting trial on a charge of illegal conduct toward a child.
