The South Carolina Auctioneers Association will hold its annual convention and state bid calling contest January 11-13, 2013 at the Sands Resorts in Myrtle Beach.
Members of the SCAA as well as their guests will be in attendance at bid calling contest, which will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, as the state's finest auctioneers compete for a coveted prize.
This event will be held in conjunction with the SCAA Fun Auction, which is an event designed to raise funds for the SCAA, a not-for-profit trade association, and its charities.
There is no charge to attend this event. The public is welcome to attend.
The contest awards ceremony - including the Hall of Fame induction - will begin around 6 p.m. on Jan. 12.
In addition, the SCAA will honor several deserving recipients that evening with advertising plaques, scholarships, annual recognition awards and the swearing-in of the 2012-13 SCAA officers and directors.
