South Conway Elementary lockdown lifted, police investigating

Taylor came to WPDE in 2011 from Greensboro, N.C., after working at WFMY News 2 and reporting for the Elon Sports Network.

South Conway Elementary School was placed on lockdown for about 10 minutes on Wednesday around 1:30 p.m., after a police matter initiated behind the school, according to Horry County spokesperson Teal Britton.
