Myrtle Beach police were called to Chapin Park Wednesday morning in reference to a suspicious fire.

When they got there, they found two portable restrooms destroyed by fire, according to a police report. One was a handicap portable toilet, while the other was a standard size.

The owner of the toilets, Elvis Service Company, arrived on the scene and verified that the toilets belonged to the business. According to the report, the victim said the toilets were valued at $2,300.

The Myrtle Beach Fire Department determined the toilets to be a total loss, and that there was no need for their arson investigator to come to the scene because there was nothing left to process but some melted plastic on the ground.
