A teacher at Burgess Elementary in Horry County traveled to Newtown, Connecticut over Christmas break to deliver a wreath and poems his class made for the families of the Sandy Hook victims.

Mr. Satterley and his wife traveled to Newtown together.

The class has a big fundraiser at Beef O' Brady's in Carolina Forest on Thursday.

All proceeds will go to the Sandy Hook Support Fund, a United Way of Western CT foundation

Checks can be made out to Burgess Elementary.
