A small fire at Super Eight Motel on Radford Boulevard in Dillon is contained and under control, according to Dillon fire officials.
Firefighters say they got a call about the fire just after 4:30 Wednesday morning.
It took them about one hour to put out the fire.
It destroyed one room on the left side of the motel.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire, but they say they don't expect arson.
Dillon Police is helping in the investigation.
