Lumberton police charged Mikkos Watson, 27, with First Degree Murder in the killing of John Rowe, 52.
Watson was arrested Monday afternoon.
Watson shot Rowe and a 32-year-old woman as they were sitting on a porch on East First Street in Lumberton December 24, according to Major Tommy Barnes.
The woman survived and is expected to be ok.
The motive is believed to be robbery.
Watson is also charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury in the shooting of the woman.
He's being held at the Robeson County Detention Center without bond.
