Horry County police charged Pamela Foster, 51, with Exploitation of a Vunerable Adult.

First Federal Bank reported to police on Thursday that one of their customers wrote about 35 checks to Foster totaling $52,116.48.

Because the victim was in his 80's and the activity started so abruptly, police investigated.

Foster is a home health care worker who provides care for the victim, according to police.
